Integrated Mind/Body/Spirit Training is an elite-athletic training program designed to prepare teams, and individual athletes, in conjunction with sport governing bodies, for regional and world level competitions, such as the World Cup. The goal of the Integral Athletic Training Center, a 501 (c) (3) non- profit organization, is high level success and achievement that is attained through sequentially periodized improvement that integrate all aspects of the athlete into self-actualizing peak performance. Our Center is predicated, like all cutting edge methodologies, on the reality that if a group or individual fails to apply the most contemporary applications they can further fall behind their competitors.
The Germans and Russians began utilizing this integral approach; they called it ‘hidden talent’, beginning in the 1960’s. The application of this unified training developed further with US groups such as the Esalen Sports Center in the 1970’s. The understanding and development of full self training continued to develop with more nations and individuals perceiving its necessity and good practice. This mindset training develops special intelligences not found in other approaches. In fact, from Canada to China, IATC’s leadership have conceived, devised and delivered many of the program elements central to participating countries advancements This outcome can be documented by IATC leadership in over 15 nations, where robust and fully positive means are in place for creating an ongoing legacy that grows exponentially with succeeding generations. As an extra boost to this achievement, a specialized sport-training environment (see example diagram) that Director Dr. Michael Spino designs for the purposes of IACA’s unified training is constructed on the site, significantly enhances the training’s effectiveness.
